Details: Under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, I am requesting an opportunity to inspect or obtain copies of any and all public records about the planned demolition and/or reconstruction or renovation of the University of Connecticut’s North Campus. These could include, but are not limited to, email and text communications about the residence hall complex as well as any permit applications, architect plans, engineering plan, contracts, requests for proposals and bid documents.

If there are any fees for searching or copying these records, please inform me if the cost will exceed $10. However, I would also like to request a waiver of all fees in that the disclosure of the requested information is in the public interest and will contribute significantly to the public’s understanding of UConn and its housing plans. This information is not being sought for commercial purposes.

The Connecticut Freedom of Information Act requires a response within four business days. If access to the records I am requesting will take longer, please contact me with information about when I might expect copies or the ability to inspect the requested records.
