Details: Freedom of Information Act Request

Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. § 1-200 et seq., I request records concerning UConn Health's parking operations for each state fiscal year (July 1–June 30) for the past five fiscal years.

Specifically, I request:

1. Parking Revenue

Total number of Area 1 parking permits issued.
Total number of individuals on Area 1 parking wait list.
Total revenue from Area 1 parking permits, including the number of permits issued and the applicable fees.
Total revenue from patient parking garages.
Total revenue from valet parking services.
Total revenue from parking citations, including the number issued, amount assessed, and amount collected.
Any other parking-related revenue.

2. Parking Expenses

Total expenses associated with parking operations for each fiscal year.
Any existing records breaking those expenses down by category, including personnel, maintenance, enforcement, equipment, utilities, security, valet services, and other operating costs.

3. Parking Contractors
For each outside contractor or vendor providing parking-related services, please provide:

The contractor/vendor name;
The applicable contract and amendments;
The services provided and compensation terms; and
The total amount paid to each contractor during each fiscal year.

4. Disposition of Parking Revenue

Records showing where parking revenue is deposited, allocated, transferred, or otherwise distributed.
Any records showing whether parking revenue is retained by UConn Health, transferred to another UConn entity, deposited into a particular fund or account, or used for specific purposes.
Any records showing the disposition or allocation of any surplus parking revenue after parking expenses.

5. Parking Surplus or Deficit

Any existing records showing the annual surplus, deficit, or net financial result of UConn Health's parking operations.
Any parking-related budget, financial statement, cost-center report, or similar record showing parking revenue and expenses.

If the requested information is maintained electronically, please provide it in its existing electronic format, preferably Excel, CSV, or another native format.

I am requesting existing records and data and am not asking UConn Health to create a new report or record. If UConn Health does not maintain a record specifically identifying a parking surplus or deficit, please provide the underlying revenue and expense records from which that figure can be determined.

This request does not seek personally identifiable information concerning individual permit holders, patients, employees, or individuals receiving parking citations.

Please provide the records electronically. If any portion of the requested records is withheld, please identify the specific statutory exemption supporting the withholding and provide all reasonably segregable non-exempt portions.
