Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act (Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 1-200 et seq.), I respectfully request access to and copies of public records related to parking enforcement at the University of Connecticut for my assignment in my Media Law course at UConn where we are practicing submitting and getting a FOI request. Specifically, I request:
The total number of parking tickets issued by UConn Parking Services between [January 20, 2025 through May 01, 2025].

A breakdown of these tickets by type of violation (e.g., expired meter, no permit, parking in fire lane, parking in handicap space, etc.).

If available, the number of tickets by location (lots, garages, or zones).

The total revenue collected from parking ticket fines during the same time period.

I request that the data be provided in an electronic format. If any portion of my request is denied, please provide the specific exemption under Connecticut law that justifies the denial.
