Details: Pursuant to the state open records law Conn. Gen. Stat. Secs. 1-200 to 1-242, I write to request access to and a copy of:
For the academic years - 11/12, 12/13, 13/14, 14/15, 15/16, 16/17:
- For each year, the number of undergraduate applicants (including applicants using university-specific applications, the Common app, or any other undergraduate application process) with criminal records (include type of criminal record offenses – felony, misdemeanor, other state-specific record).
- For each year, the number of people with criminal records who began an undergraduate application process, but did not complete the application - for each year, the number of applicants with criminal records who were accepted.
- For each year, the number of applicants with criminal records who were denied acceptance and the reason for their denial.
- For each year, the number of enrolled students with criminal records.
- For each incoming class in the above academic years, the number of students who have since committed violations of university policy - for each incoming class in the above academic years, the number of students who have since been sanctioned (Including type of sanction [suspension, expulsion, etc.] and reason for sanctioning).
- The text of any university policy regarding admitting students with criminal records.
