Details: Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. §1-200 et seq. (and §1-210(a)), I request copies of the following public records of the University of Connecticut — including the Storrs campus, the regional campuses, and UConn Health — for all fiscal years for which records are retained (at a minimum fiscal year 2012 through the present). Because the University's purchasing runs through its own financial systems rather than Core-CT, I am directing this request to the University rather than to a central state agency.
PART 1 — Purchase-order / invoice line-item detail:
A report or export of all purchase-order and invoice LINE ITEMS for purchases of supplies, materials, and commodities, LIMITED to cleaning, sanitation, maintenance, and chemical-consumable purchases — specifically these expense/commodity categories (or the University's equivalent classifications): premises/custodial cleaning supplies; personal hygiene supplies; laundry and cleaning supplies; building and grounds maintenance supplies (cleaning, degreasing, solvent, lubricant, paint/coating, and adhesive chemical products only); grounds, turf, and pest-control chemical products; laboratory supplies and medical supplies (chemical products and reagents only); de-icing and winter chemicals (including calcium chloride, sodium acetate, and snow/ice removal supplies); and any other category under which the University purchases cleaning, sanitation, disinfecting, degreasing, de-icing, pest-control, or laboratory chemical products.
For each line, please include: product/item description, manufacturer or brand, catalog/SKU/part number, quantity, unit of measure, unit price, extended (line) price, vendor, purchase-order number, and order/invoice date. A spreadsheet export from the University's financial system (CSV or Excel) is acceptable and preferred. If the full period cannot be produced at once, I ask that you produce it in installments (by fiscal year, most recent first) rather than narrowing the request.
PART 2 — Hazardous chemical inventory (OSHA Hazard Communication):
The current list/inventory of hazardous chemicals maintained under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200(e)) for University facilities — custodial, maintenance, grounds, fleet, and (where applicable) laboratory and clinical operations — and/or the index or table of contents of the facility Safety Data Sheet (SDS) libraries, showing product name and manufacturer for each entry (list/index only; not the full SDS documents).
