Pursuant to Connecticut open records laws, I am requesting copies of the following records in electronic format on a rolling basis as they are cleared for release:
— All emails, including attachments, to or from David Benedict (athleticdirector@uconn.edu) with any of the following non-case sensitive keywords: “Grunwald,” “separation,” “complaint,” “resign,” OR “reprimand” between August 28, 2018, to August 28, 2019. Please exclude documents from news aggregators or other similar bulk content services.
— All emails, including attachments, to or from Warde Manuel (athleticdirector@uconn.edu, warde.manuel@uconn.edu) with any of the following non-case sensitive keywords: “Strauss-O'Brien,” “O'Brien,” “separation,” “complaint,” “resign,” OR “reprimand” between September 12, 2013, to September 12, 2014. Please exclude documents from news aggregators or other similar bulk content services.
— Documentation related to any closed investigation(s) of Kris Grunwald and/or Holly Strauss-O'Brien for misconduct connected to employment with the University of Connecticut, including but not limited to complaints, reprimands, and evaluations contained in personnel file(s) as “final determinations.”
This records request is being filed in pursuit of a time-sensitive news story. Therefore, I ask that my request be expedited. I would like these records in electronic format, sent via email or other digital method, and again, please release documents on a rolling basis, as they become available.
