Details: Under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. § 1-200 et seq., Do No Harm requests copies of the records described below for each graduate medical education (residency) program sponsored by or held by the University of Connecticut (UConn Health / UConn School of Medicine) and listed in Attachment C.
Time period. Applicants who applied to each listed program for the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) Main Residency Match in 2024, 2025 and 2026. These correspond to the ERAS 2024, 2025 and 2026 application seasons.
Part 1 – Applicant-level selection data. Records, in electronic spreadsheet or database format, containing one de-identified row per applicant per program, with the fields listed in Attachment A. Attachment A identifies each field by the section and field label in which it appears in the AAMC Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) application, with a link to the AAMC's published applicant worksheet, or as a record the program itself creates during selection. Background on ERAS and the NRMP Match is in Attachment B.
These data are transmitted to the program through the AAMC's ERAS Program Director's WorkStation and kept by the program in its selection tools, interview scheduling software and NRMP rank order list. We request them as maintained in any such system or export, or the equivalent field in the ERAS 2024 and 2025 applications. We do not ask the program to create new records; an existing export with identifying fields removed is acceptable.
