Details: Pursuant to Connecticut's Freedom of Information Act (Chapter 14 Conn. Gen. Stats.), I am requesting the following documents from your school’s athletics department.

A record of all spending in the past fiscal or calendar year (whichever is easiest for you) by your football team on golf carts.

I am happy to accept copies of all invoices, payments, or contracts with vendors. However, if it is easier to provide, I am also willing to accept a spreadsheet of total spending, or a lump sump payment with the vendor name included.

By golf cart spending, I mean any purchases or rentals, as well as any maintenance fees, or other additional expenses. If you cannot readily identify the vendor your football team uses to procure golf carts, I ask that you search vendor invoices for “golf” or “carts.”

Should that not be sufficient, please let me know.

Please note that Connecticut law requires public agencies to respond to requests within four days of receiving them by either processing or denying the request, or providing written notice requesting an extension.

As I am an independent journalist engaged in legitimate newsgathering, I am requesting a fee waiver of any associated costs with this request. In lieu of a fee waiver, I am requesting a detailed invoice of any potential costs, if any, associated with this request.
