Details: My name is Maximilian Bauer, and I am reaching out on behalf of candidate select, a German HR technology company. We develop data-driven tools that help employers and job seekers better understand a nd contextualize academic credentials, taking into account the country, institution, degree type, field of study, and graduation year.
To do this meaningfully, we rely on grade distribution data at the course or program level. Such data allows us to understand grading standards across institutions and programs, which is essential for fair and accurate analysis.
We are currently updating our dataset and would like to kindly ask, pursuant to Connecticut Freedom of Information Act, Conn. Gen. Stat. § 1-200 et seq. whether your institution could share its grade distribution data, ideally broken down by:
- Department or program
- Course level (undergraduate / graduate)
- Academic term or year
Any format you have available (PDF, Excel, CSV, etc.) would be very helpful. If this data is already publicly available, we would also greatly appreciate a pointer to the relevant page or document.
