Accordingly, under the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act § 1-200 et seq., and to the extent that Daily Campus official business was conducted with the Board of Directors's personal uconn.edu email, including forwarded messages from the dailycampus.edu domain, I am requesting that the members of the Board of Directors of the Daily Campus furnish copies of all emails, text messages (including, but not limited to iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram, and Signal), and any other form of written or digital communication sent or received pertaining to the below:

1) Any correspondence received between October 7, 2023 and October 31, 2023 that includes the terms "toolkit" "flood" "tufan" "toufan" "toofan" "nukhba"
2) Any correspondence from of April 23, 2024 through May 31, 2024 concerning requests by UConn affiliates to respond to the anonymous column, "Culture Shock: Refusing the weaponization of Jewish identity." Appropriate search terms include "culture shock" "anonymous" "anonymity"
3) Any correspondence from September 1, 2024 through October 4, 2024 that would establish whether the anonymous Culture Shock column, "What place does our identity have in the perpetuation of genocide?" was written by a non-student, in violation of Daily Campus editorial policy. Pursuant to the Connecticut Freedom of Information Act (Conn. Gen. Stat. §§ 1-200 et seq.), I am requesting access to records concerning student post-graduation outcomes and employment data collected by the University of Connecticut between January 1, 2020 and April 30, 2025.

Specifically, I am requesting:

All internal reports, surveys, dashboards, or raw data tracking:

Employment rates of graduates within 6 months and 1 year of graduation

Average and median salaries by major or program

Job placement within field of study vs. unrelated employment

Graduate school admissions and outcomes

Underemployment or unemployment rates by academic program

Methodologies used to collect and report these metrics (e.g., self-reported surveys, third-party data, NACE standards, etc.)

Any materials, presentations, or internal communications between UConn administration, the Office of Institutional Research, Career Services, or external marketing vendors that reference:

How student outcomes data is reported to prospective students, families, donors, or the public

Decisions related to suppressing, revising, or selectively publishing certain outcome metrics

Please provide these records in digital format. If any portion of this request is denied or redacted, please cite the relevant exemption under Connecticut law and describe the appeal process.

Given the strong public interest in the return on investment of higher education and UConn’s role as a public institution, I respectfully request a waiver of any associated fees.
